DecoSplosion

Activation keyword: DecoDaal

DecoSplosion is a bright, intricate collision of decoupage, collage, illustration, and controlled visual chaos. It builds subjects out of layered patterns, tiny decorative elements, bold graphic shapes, flowers, symbols, textures, and unexpected little details, often giving the image the feeling that it has been assembled from a hundred miniature artworks at once. The results can swing from whimsical storybook characters and fashion portraits to ornate animals, surreal creatures, and elaborate graphic compositions, while keeping that distinctive handcrafted, cut-paper-meets-explosion character.

I originally started experimenting with this idea during the Krea contest, but I could never quite get the look to come together the way I wanted. I came back to it later, inspired by the sea of stickers being stuck across the site, tried again, and... TADA. DecoSplosion.

Using the LoRA

Use the keyword DecoDaal in your prompt.

The LoRA works well across roughly 0.5 to 1.5 strength, with 1.0 being the sweet spot for strong, reliable style adherence.

  • 0.5–0.8: Keeps more of the underlying model's natural look while introducing DecoSplosion's collage, pattern, and decorative detailing.

  • Around 1.0: Strong DecoSplosion character with dense ornamentation, graphic shapes, layered textures, and playful visual complexity.

  • 1.2–1.5: Pushes harder into the style, becoming increasingly cartoony, abstract, densely decorated, and delightfully strange.

It works especially well when you give it interesting silhouettes, creatures, fashion, fantasy subjects, or simple compositions that leave room for the decorative elements to take over.

I find it works really well with simple prompts, works quite well with medium complexity prompts, and is either amazing or "what the heck just happened, why is this 3D?" when the prompt is complicated.

Show Me What Explodes

If you enjoy DecoSplosion, please give the LoRA a thumbs up and post your first creation to the LoRA page.

I love seeing where people take these models, especially when someone discovers a combination or subject I never would have thought of. Share the buzz, show off your experiment, and help keep me inspired to make the next weird thing.
