Krea 2 Inpaint | Click to Mask

Click what you want to change, say what goes there, and Krea 2 repaints only that part. The rest of your picture stays exactly as it was.

How to use it

1. Load your image. Optional: drag the blue handles to crop it first.

2. On Mask by Touch, click the thing you want changed. It lights up before you click.

3. In What goes there, type what should be in the picked area, like "a black leather jacket". Say what replaces it, not just what to remove, or you can get a flat patch.

4. Run.

• AusBoss nodes 2.11.2 or newer. In ComfyUI-Manager, search "AusBoss". Already have them? Update first.

• The Krea 2 Turbo models and the AnyPaint LoRA:

Tips

• Wrong thing picked? The arrows under the picture swap it for the next thing it could mean. Paint adds an area by hand, and Erase takes some away. Before AusBoss nodes 2.12.0 this was one button, Draw.

• Pick all of it. A second click adds a piece: the other sleeve, stray hair or fur that crosses the edge. If the edge falls short, raise Grow under the picture: a little extra is better than too little. Whatever you leave out stays.

• The new thing fills the old shape. A hoodie in place of a T-shirt can come out with short sleeves, and a fitted jacket in place of an oversized one can leave flat gray where the old one was wider. Ask for something of about the same size.

• Changing the background? Click Background under the picture. It picks everything around the main subject, and needs the optional file above. A small gap closed in by the person, like between the legs, can stay a flat patch.

• Change one thing per run. With two separate areas in one run, only one may come out.

• Want to keep some of what was there? Lower Denoise. 1 replaces the picked area. Around 0.7 the new thing keeps the old shape. At 0.5 and under it stays close to what was there.

• Auto prompt is on. The text encoder turns your words into a full prompt, and Prompt Krea 2 sees shows it. Switch it off to send your words as typed.

• Keep bare skin out of the pick where you can. Repainted skin can come out a slightly different tone.

• Only the picked area changes. In my tests, nothing more than about 100 px from the mask moved.

• The three boxes in the middle do the work. Double-click one to see inside.

• About 16 to 20 seconds a run on an RTX 5090. A new picture needs about 20 seconds before things light up.

Krea 2 is by Krea, under the Krea 2 Community License: commercial use is allowed if you make under US$1M a year (details). The AnyPaint LoRA is by yijunwang2, under the same license.

v1.3 (2026-10-14): click the thing instead of painting over it, with Mask by Touch. Flat gray patches are fixed. New Auto prompt switch, and you can crop on the loader. One more download, the SAM 3 file. Needs AusBoss nodes 2.11.0 or newer.

v1.2 (2026-10-07): Denoise works. New Denoise box on the front, and lowering it no longer leaves a gray patch. Notes with arrows show where to load, type and set. Needs AusBoss nodes 2.9.0 or newer.

v1.1 (2026-09-30): Stay in picture is on, so big painted areas come out sharper, and a person you leave unpainted stays. Needs AusBoss nodes 2.5.0 or newer.
