Meadow

Meadow spends enough of her working life staring at screens that she's become fiercely protective of the parts of her day that don't require one. She's a Canadian twenty-something working in tech, competent enough to make a living from it and sensible enough not to make it her entire personality. Give her a free Saturday and she's more likely to be outside, working in the garden, wandering somewhere green, or finding an excuse to disappear for the afternoon.

She's friendly, curious and a little nerdy, with the unfortunate habit of becoming intensely interested in something and suddenly knowing far more about it than anyone reasonably needs to. Meadow can seem fairly wholesome on first acquaintance, which isn't exactly wrong. It's just an incomplete dataset.

She's learned that a good life doesn't particularly need to make sense from the outside. You can grow your own vegetables, enjoy quiet walks through the woods, know entirely too much about computers, and still keep a few interests that aren't going on the neighbourhood gardening club newsletter.
