Inkpoet

Inkpoet brings together flowing watercolor, expressive ink and hand-drawn linework in a style that feels a little raw, a little messy, and full of character.

It can be soft and colorful or dark and moody depending on where you take the prompt. It works with portraits, characters, creatures, fantasy, landscapes, architecture, machines and more.

Inkpoet especially likes strong compositions and cinematic scenes - expressive character poses, dramatic perspectives, atmospheric environments and moments that feel like a frame taken from an film.

I made Inkpoet to be flexible rather than locked into one type of subject, so don't be afraid to experiment with completely different ideas.

PROMPTING

Start your prompt with:

Then simply describe what you want to see.

You generally don't need to add other style keywords. Inkpoet already carries its own watercolor, ink, linework and paper-like character. In fact, I recommend trying it without additional style descriptions first and letting the LoRA do its thing.

For example:

inkpoet, a lone samurai standing beneath a huge torii gate during a storm, wind moving his clothes, distant mountains covered in mist, dramatic low-angle composition

Or:

inkpoet, a quiet alpine lake surrounded by mountains and pine forest, morning mist drifting above the water, wide panoramic composition

For more cinematic results, describe the composition and moment rather than stacking style tags. Things like low-angle view, wide composition, dramatic perspective, backlighting, wind, rain, mist, character pose or foreground/background elements can make a big difference.

STRENGTH

Recommended: 0.6–1.0

Around 0.6–0.7 keeps more of the base model while adding the Inkpoet character.

Around 0.8 is my personal sweet spot and a good place to start.

At 1.0 the watercolor and ink character becomes much stronger and more dominant.
