Krea 2 Character Forge

Part One : Base

This is a Krea 2 workflow featuring a custom node I made to inject character traits directly into the prompt and generate a clean, character base image.

Using these custom nodes is basically like creating a character in an RPG video game , you can define and mix different character traits to build the character you want.

The generated image can then be used as a reference for a Character Sheet / Dataset Generator, which I’ll be releasing soon. This workflow is therefore the first half of the process.

I intentionally kept the two workflows separate instead of combining everything into one huge spaghetti workflow. This also gives you the flexibility to use any other reference image with the Character Sheet Generator rather than being limited to the character generated here.

How to Install the custom node :

1. In your ComfyUI installation, go to: ComfyUI/custom_nodes/

2. Create a new folder called: character_trait_selectors

3. Download and Extract the custom node attached file inside that folder as: __init__.py

final path should be:

ComfyUI/custom_nodes/character_trait_selectors/__init__.py

4. Restart ComfyUI.

5. The nodes will appear under the "character_sheet/selectors" category

Loras :

I’ve also included a Stack LoRA Loader with suggested LoRAs, recommended strength ranges, and links to help improve character quality and identity.

However, if you want to use LoRAs to customize specific traits, it’s better to disable/bypass the related custom node input to avoid conflicting with the LoRA.

For the best results, I recommend using trained Krea 2 checkpoints rather than the base Krea 2 Turbo model.
