✨Sup✨

I wanna keep making cool shit for y’all. If you like what I’m making and wanna help keep it rolling, I’d really appreciate it;
ko-fi.com/sickollie
(seriously this shit is expensive to make, and my computer is actively dying which has caused some delays here)

I've been trying to get this update wrapped for a bit, finally feel like it's at a point I can share it out. I almost released it last week and then had a major breakthrough on building a system for using multiple characters at once. It's A LOT of fun, and the ui came out pretty slick.
Stoked to see what you guys do with it, I've gotten a ton of messages asking how I was making images with multiple characters, had to make sure it launched in v5.

So, I'll be busy af this weekend, had to get this up now. The rest of this description is gonna be written by ai, as well as the manual (which is written with high level Astra, but still some weird quirks and screenshots, so reach out if you have any questions.)

I know I've said it before, but I actually will be releasing a video tutorial for this version. I just have to stop building more shit into it long enough to do that. So I will do that and finally make the video.

OH, last thing. If your Creative Library is still empty, or if you're a new user, the first time you open the library with v5 it will ask you if you want to automatically download and import the starter pack! Should help especially with all the new elements!
But if you've already been using it, you can download the updated starter pack with elements here!:

V5 — Elements and Friends

Because multi-subject = friends lol.

SO much new shit. The Creative Library has grown actual limbs, your characters can hang out together, and apparently I wasn’t done building a whole damn operating system inside ComfyUI.

The big ones this time are
Elements
Multi-Subject / Multi Studio,
Inpainting,
LoRA Collection Core
Alchemy and LoRA Merging,
SO many QOL updates, and a bunch of ways to save and reuse the stuff you actually like.

ELEMENTS

Basically reinvented wildcards here. And you can even import existing wildcard files into it!
(When you're in the Elements library, click Manage Libraries at the top, then create a new library at the top of that window. After you're in your new library tab, you click Library Menu at the top and then Import {Library Name} Wildcards)

Hair, poses, expressions, lighting, camera, mood, style, scenes—and you can make your own types too.

Basically, all those little pieces of a prompt you keep typing or copying from somewhere can now have their own libraries. Drop something like {HAIR} or {LIGHTING} into your prompt and choose where it pulls from.

Keep a specific value, pick from a Collection, randomize it, or Shuffle through a pool before repeating. You can also build things out of smaller parts and save those combinations for later.

And these can be assigned per character. So your two friends don’t need matching hair, poses, and expressions unless that’s the vibe.

FRIENDS / MULTI STUDIO

Multiple characters, with their own LoRAs, strengths, triggers, prompts, and placement regions.

The Multi Studio gives you a bigger workspace to set all of that up, with support for 2–8 subjects. Each character can also pull from a LoRA Collection, so you can keep one person fixed while shuffling who they’re hanging out with.

Save your cast to bring the people back later.

BUT EVEN BETTER

Save the shot separately from the cast. Shared prompt, character roles, layout, all that. Then load that setup with different people using Keep my cast.

So if you get a composition you love, you don’t have to rebuild the whole thing every time you want someone else in it.

Use the included Krea2 multi-subject starter workflow for the regional setup. This lives in the standalone Studio workflow; Creative Engine has its own single-prompt setup.

LORA ALCHEMY + MERGING

Alchemy lets you pull compatible LoRAs from a pool or Collection and roll combinations with adjustable strengths. Lock parts you like, reroll the rest, and generate candidates to compare.

Found a mix worth keeping? LoRA Merge Core lets you build, preview, and export supported combinations as a new LoRA, with exact or compressed merge options.

There’s also a new LoRA Collection Core so you can browse a Collection right on the canvas and send selections into your workflow or to individual subjects.

For anyone who has spent an unreasonable amount of time mixing sliders and thinking “wait, what the fuck did I use for that one”—this is for us.

INPAINT CORE

An actual editing workspace for working on parts of an image.

Paint a mask or use the detection tools, give that region its own prompt, optionally add a region-specific LoRA, and generate an edit. Compare the result before accepting it, or undo an accepted change.

Useful for faces, expressions, clothing, and all the little things that make you go “this would be perfect if…”

JOURNAL CORE

Somewhere to put your damn notes.

Persistent notebooks and pages, Markdown preview, optional prompt output, and import/export. You can also batch-import lists into the Creative Library, including Elements.

So that giant text file of prompts and ideas can finally contribute something.

A FEW THINGS STILL WEARING THEIR BETA HATS

  • Creative Engine · BETA: an expandable workspace that brings model loading, prompting, generation, enhancement, and saving together.

  • Enhancement Core · BETA: upscaling, optional face detail/restoration, and post-generation refinement. Available options depend on your models and setup.

  • Outfit Forge · BETA: still here for drafting editable outfits from themes and settings. Treat the results as a starting point to tweak.

AND ALL THE STUFF THAT MADE THE EARLIER VERSIONS USEFUL

The Creative Library still keeps your Templates, Prompts, Looks, Wardrobe, Scenes, and now Elements organized into reusable Collections. Import/export .soslibrary packs to move content around or share it. Existing library packs can still be imported.

The LoRA Library gives you a visual catalogue, Civitai information and thumbnails, favorites, rejects, retest states, and usage counts.

ALSO STILL TRACKS HOW MANY TIMES YOU HAVE USED A LORA. Think you’re Jada’s #1 fan? Now you can prove it.

YEARBOOK RUNS

Pick the folder or assets you want to test, give them a consistent prompt/setup, choose which ones need previews, and let it run.

You get small preview images you can actually compare beside each other. Extremely useful for testing a pile of epochs without trying to remember which vaguely named file made the good face.

LORA ORGANIZER

Still here to help turn your folder full of v1.safetensors into shit that makes sense.

Scan your LoRA folder, review proposed names and locations, edit anything weird, then apply the changes you want. Includes duplicate/empty-folder tools and an Undo option for supported operations if you f**ked up.

SAVED SETUPS + IMAGE METADATA

Save useful setups and load supported settings back into your existing workflow. The Cast Library adds reusable character/workflow setups, and image metadata tools help recover prompts, seeds, and generation settings when that information is present.

Thumbnails still mean you don’t have to guess what backyard boobies was when you saved it. You can see it.

Also still here, with more improvements around them:

  • Pin + Compare and Save to Library from Preview Core.

  • Live Theater so you can review results while a run continues.

  • Persistent trigger overrides for characters that need that extra paragraph attached every damn time.

  • Diffusion model cycling for comparisons.

  • Saved seed and size presets.

  • Output filename recipes that follow your Single/Multi prompt mode.

  • Civitai controls for preparing images and generation information, reviewing drafts, and publishing with your account.

INSTALL / UPGRADE

Download the v5 node pack and put its ComfyUI-SickOllie folder inside your ComfyUI custom_nodes folder.

If you’re upgrading, stop ComfyUI and back up your old installation, library data, workflows, and presets first. Move the old extension folder outside custom_nodes, then install the new one. Keep one installed copy.

Restart ComfyUI and hard-refresh your browser.

Coming from an older workflow: turn off the old Generation Core HiRes option. Enhancement Core handles post-processing in v5.

Starter workflows are in the pack’s workflows folder. Pick your own installed models before running them.

THE MANUAL

Full disclosure, this update got way too massive to explain every button here, so there’s ChatGPT-assisted documentation again lol.

Grab the separate documentation bundle for the illustrated manual, screenshots, setup instructions, and input reference. Open index.html in your browser—it works offline. Markdown copies are included too.

For library content, use Import Pack in the Creative Library and select your .soslibrary file.

Reach out with questions! There’s a lot in here, but start with a starter workflow, get one good image, and then start poking things.

Requirements

  • ComfyUI

  • rgthree-comfy

  • Your own compatible models. Model weights aren’t bundled.
