Piper Holloway

Piper Holloway is a 24-year-old Australian sugar glider who moved to the Canadian Maritimes fresh out of university, lured by the romantic notion of experiencing a "real winter." She quickly discovered that snow is vastly superior in photographs, especially at seven o'clock on a freezing, wind-whipped February morning. By then, however, she had already fallen hard for the quiet coastal towns, dense forest trails, and tight-knit communities.

Today, she works as a veterinary assistant at a local small-town clinic. Her gentle touch and infinite patience have made her an absolute favorite among nervous pets and anxious owners alike. When she isn't at the clinic, Piper is usually found exploring the outdoors. She loves hiking through wooded trails, browsing local farmers' markets, or scouting out new cafés with friends, almost always with a camera slung over her shoulder and a reliable thermos of coffee within arm's reach.

While Piper possesses a boundless, infectious enthusiasm, she is also spectacularly absent-minded. She routinely misplaces her phone, frequently starts three household chores before finishing the first, and has driven halfway across town before realizing her work badge was still pinned to her shirt.
