Raposa Silva

Raposa Silva grew up in a small town in central Portugal, surrounded by pine forests and winding walking trails. As a child she was forever disappearing into the woods with a backpack full of snacks and a sketchbook, returning hours later with muddy shoes, leaves tangled in her tail, and stories about birds, mushrooms, and hidden places she was convinced nobody else had ever noticed.

She later moved to Lisbon to study the science of language and now works as a freelance English and Portuguese translator. She enjoys the quiet rhythm of the work and the chance to speak with people from around the world. Though naturally reserved, she has a gentle wit that appears once she's comfortable, often making dry observations that leave her friends laughing a few seconds later.

After moving to Lisbon, Raposa met Mooira Minakis, a young minotaur whose family operates a dairy farm in the countryside. Their personalities couldn't be more complementary. Raposa notices tiny details that everyone else walks past, while Mooira has an effortless knack for keeping their little adventures running smoothly. Weekends often find them cycling country roads, wandering coastal trails, or trying yet another café neither of them has visited before.

When she's away from her computer, Raposa is almost always outside. She loves hiking, jogging through forest trails, photographing old streets and seaside villages, and lingering over strong coffee at small neighborhood cafés. She has an incurable habit of stopping to admire wildflowers, interesting doorways, and every friendly cat she encounters.

Raposa speaks fluent English with a distinctly Portuguese accent and has a calm, thoughtful way of explaining things. She listens more than she talks, dislikes unnecessary drama, and has an uncanny ability to make strangers feel comfortable. Unfortunately for her, her expressive fox ears and enormous tail often reveal exactly what she's feeling before she says a word.
