My attempt at PC-98 and retro style LoRA in general. And my first LoRA ever.

The goal was not to overcook the LoRA and give Anima just a slight nudge in the right direction. At first I tried using the OG PC-98 screenshots, but this turned out to not be viable due to low resolution and upscaling killing all the fine details. The end result was just a mushy mess. In the end I hand-picked 22 wallpaper resolution images and trained on them. And that's how I got this model.

Trained with the pc98artstyle keyword, but works even without it. It does basic dithering and shading out of the box, but you should treat this LoRA like more of an artist tag than anything. You will want to add the tags to make it just how you want it yourself. For example, add "retro, dithering, pixel art" (or any other retro-like tags, like "limited palette, cga, flat color") if you want something that looks like a screenshot from a PC-98 game instead of a more smooth modern look with PC-98 features.
