Welcome to tag of the day, my not-daily series where share tags I found useful but underutilized in generations and explain how/why you should use it (and actually wrote up most of last month).
From above, from below, from side, and from back are some of the most first tags most people learn when learning to make AI art, but did you know that you can apply weight to these tags? Using above/below at half or quarter strength is great for making a subject shorter/lower or taller/higher than the viewer without being extremely low/high. Using these at higher weights will instead place the viewer much further above/below the viewer (such is in the sky or down a pit). Using “from side” at lower weight helps get ~10-80 degree and (with from behind) 170-100 degree views of your subject. If you play with the weights on a fixed seed, you can get pretty close to 360 degree camera controls.
Possible Pairings: "PoV" and various PoV LoRAs with female subject are a prime example of a prompt that benefits from including "(from above:0.5)"
