ImageFirework — Launch Burst Fade (API) | v13

A procedural ComfyUI workflow that turns an input image into a staged night-firework reveal.

OUTPUT PREVIEW

The first preview is the real burst peak generated by this workflow. The result features a warm gold/white Willow-style primary break, a delayed secondary wave, gravity-driven falling residual tails, and a continuous local particle-to-image reveal.

INPUT IMAGE

The included source_complex.png is the input image used for the reference run. It is intentionally hidden during launch and begins forming only after the burst through local particles, smoke, and color occupancy.

WORKFLOW

• Launch shell → primary break → delayed secondary wave → curved residual tails → image formation

• 180 transition frames

• 24 fps reference playback

• Recommended reveal mode: smoke_exposure

• No external checkpoint or LoRA is required for the procedural effect

REQUIREMENTS

• ComfyUI

• ComfyUI-ShatterWorld with the ImageFirework node

• Copy source_complex.png to the ComfyUI input folder

HOW TO USE

1. Load ImageFirework_LaunchBurstFade_API.json.

2. Set LoadImage to source_complex.png.

3. Execute through the ComfyUI API.

4. Inspect the returned animation frames and burst peak.

The source is not globally pasted at the end. A dense image-particle grid moves from burst origins to local target coordinates, then performs a bounded final convergence to the exact source frame.

VERIFICATION

• v13 implementation

• ComfyUI-ShatterWorld regression suite: 21/21 PASS

• Live ComfyUI API execution: PASS

• Standard output: 179 decoded frames

NOTES

This is a deterministic procedural effect rather than a model-generated photographic firework. It is designed for a stylized, temporally coherent firework-to-image transition. The ZIP download contains the workflow, README, source image, and manifest.
