Horror style - HS1 (Illustrious) Showcase
I really wanted to upload this style, I could barely hold myself back from rushing it))) I really like horror, especially the current analog ones... It's very strange when some studio makes a horror film with a huge budget, you watch it and think: "Well... it's kinda creepy... yeah... maybe even a little scary"... But when you watch analog cinema on YouTube made by some 19-year-old student who was just bored... Seriously, sometimes it gets so terrifying and unpleasant that you want to close the screen as quickly as possible... And even after watching, your mind keeps returning to that repulsive atmosphere, replaying the events over and over again... It's unusual... But overall... I understand why it works that way... Sometimes a big budget kills the whole atmosphere... You see a beautiful picture, high-quality monsters, famous actors, and... you realize it's just a movie...
But the lack of budget... Ugh... You see an image of a VHS tape, and on it are some no-names and weird events... It's precisely because of this simplicity, the "bad camera," that room for imagination opens up... theories... anxiety... Expensive cinema can hardly evoke that kind of feeling)
Although it all depends on the approach and execution... Not every fan-made analog horror is good, after all..))
