Far as the eyes, the super easy fix is just to close his eyes, stick a pair of sunglasses on him (I feel like he'd actually do this cuz he's one of those characters always seems to get their comeuppance, or loveable rogue, whatever universe we're in), or brute force it till you get what you're looking for. I think you get better results with the guy if you're not specific, but I don't pretend to be an expert in all this, or even NOT lazy.
