Botanica: Botanical Illustration Style Reviews

A very satisfying LoRA if you have any interest in Victorian era botanical illustrations. By itself it produces excellent pseudoreplicas; I can't speak for the botanical accuracy (this is brute force machine learning after all!) but the images are nice to look at. More interesting to me was mixing Botanica with other models to get a vintage organic fusion. I got excellent results mixing with illustrative LoRAs, but also some weird-and-wonderful output with photoreal LoRAs. The hit rate was lower with photoreal. Botanica often produces a greenish cast which I think is true to the source era, but can be annoying if you want a more even colour mix.

I like this LoRA enough that I'm now into try-it-with-everything mode. 😁
