Horridus from The Savage Dragon

Horridus from the comic book series The Savage Dragon (1992), an Image Comics superhero series following the adventures of Savage Dragon and other superpowered beings in Chicago, is the superhero identity of Sara Hill, later Sara Dexter, a woman born after her mother was unknowingly impregnated by aliens. Because of her reptilian appearance, her deeply religious parents chained her in their basement throughout her childhood until she was rescued by Savage Dragon and brought into the Chicago Police Department’s experimental Freak Force program. She is covered in durable orange spikes, possesses superhuman strength, agility, heightened senses, and a prehensile tail, eventually becoming a longtime member of Freak Force and the Special Operations Strikeforce while gradually adapting to life outside the isolation she endured as a child.
