Original hand-drawn 90s style for backgrounds, illustrations, arts and cartoons.

The style is based on the hand-drawn backgrounds (Oleg Zaharov Style) from the game "Petka and Vasily Ivanovich". The quest game of the 1998, released in Russia.

Triggers: The PIVIG image style; PIVIG.
Also look at examples of prompts in images and make your own variations based on them. Maybe it will work better this way.

updates:

v.3 - Great depth of style. The dataset is slightly smaller than in the second version. (45 vs. 66) More watercolor, less binding to backgrounds.

v.2 - Added more backgrounds to the training sample. Perhaps a little less following the style, closer to the light version. You can also combine the version 1 or 3 with this version, for more style detail.

v.1 - Main base model (38 backgrounds). The model v1 works well with backgrounds, but it may not have been fully trained on the characters, since they are presented monotonously in the game and were almost not used in the dataset. In any case, it is interesting and conveys a kind of animated atmosphere and style.

v. 1 (light) - This is a light version of the main model, with a less precise adherence to the style. 4 Epochs out of 5 for the final 1 version. According to my tests, it draws people quite well.

There is also the 3rd Epoch. I will post it too if there are those who want it in the comments and requests. It has even fewer details of the original style, but some touches remain in terms of atmosphere.
