While an extremely popular color scheme for 18th-19th century uniforms was blue jackets and white pants, one set of Spanish uniforms from the mid-1700s adopted the latter, which is replicated here. The Tirailleurs Liégeois (Liege Skirmishers) of Belgium in the 1830s wore a distinct uniform that seems to stand astride earlier and later designs.
