This slider is designed to improve skin realism and reduce the overly oily, shiny appearance that can sometimes make generated faces look artificial. It aims for a more natural skin finish while preserving fine details such as pores, wrinkles, freckles, and other skin imperfections.
Positive values between 1 and 1.5 generally give the best results in my tests. You can experiment with different strengths depending on your model and the look you want to achieve.
For the best results, I recommend testing it without turbo LoRAs, as they can affect the final appearance.
All my example videos have the ComfyUI workflow embedded, so you can download one and reproduce my setup to test the slider yourself.
Results will vary depending on the base model, other LoRAs, prompts, and generation settings. Check the comparison images to see the difference for yourself.
