Recommended use: 0.8–0.9, and with shots that get close to the face for the greatest possible detail.
Issues: Any shot that pulls away from the face will inevitably lack detail in that area; when wearing any garment, it will also feature the patterns and details of the character's original clothing.
Another thing to keep in mind is that the images were taken with the graphics generally set to medium.
Something that might even be a little cringe-worthy.
