DetailedRealismChauhan4step_LCM_simple
An SDXL 1.0 checkpoint distilled for detailed photorealism in four steps. Sampler LCM. Scheduler simple. CFG 1.0.
This file is a full checkpoint, not a LoRA and not a style tag. Load it as the model. The speed and the look are already in the weights. Quality depends on matching the schedule the file was built for. The usual SDXL recipe — DPM++2M Karras, CFG 5 to 7, 25 to 30 steps — is the wrong recipe for this file.
Use it for portraits, full-body photographs, street and interior scenes, editorial stills, and character work that should read as camera-captured, with visible skin texture and ordinary light. It is not a painterly or anime checkpoint. For oil, watercolour, or pencil, use the matching Chauhan style checkpoint, or stack a style LoRA at a low weight, rather
than asking this base to paint.

These are the settings on the reference KSampler card for this checkpoint. Do not invent a longer schedule to
“improve” the picture.
Setting Value Note
Checkpoint DetailedRealismChauhan4step_LCM_simple SDXL 1.0. Load as the model, not as a LoRA.
Sampler lcm Required. Not Euler, not DPM++ 2M.
Scheduler simple Required. Not Karras, not exponential.
Steps 4 Required. A trial at 5 or 6 is the only exception.
CFG 1.0 Required. Stay at 1.0 to 1.5. Above 2 the path breaks.
Denoise 1.00 Full generation. Lower only for img2img.
Clip skip 1 Do not leave it at 2 from an SD 1.5 habit.
Resolution 1024×1024, or 832×1216 Stay near one megapixel.
ComfyUI KSampler, copy these values. steps 4 · cfg 1.0 · sampler_name lcm · scheduler simple · denoise 1.00. Seed
may be fixed or random. Control after generate: randomize is fine.
At CFG 1.0 the negative prompt does almost nothing. Classifier-free guidance is effectively off. Write the picture in
the positive prompt. If a defect will not leave, raise CFG only to 1.2 or 1.5 and keep the negative short. Do not climb
to 5 or 7.
