Create posable game character sprites. Provide a picture of your character and a skeleton chart and you'll get a sprite sheet of the character matching the pose. The LoRAs work in 8 directions with side-scroller, isometric and top-down cameras, with the character unarmed or holding a weapon.

Two versions

  • Pose v5 draws one 1024 × 1024 frame from one skeleton. Higher quality good for single frame poses.

  • Sheet v5 draws a 1536 × 1024 sheet with 6 frames from a chart of 6 skeletons in a 3 by 2 grid. Use it for a walk, run, attack or any move you pose.

How to use it

  1. Load the skeleton chart as image 1.

  2. Load your character on a white background as image 2.

  3. Use the trigger words as the prompt. To show the character's front, add "turned toward the camera" after "facing right".

  4. Set the LoRA strength to 1. Use 4 steps at CFG 1 with the Lightning LoRA, or 25 steps at CFG 4 without it.

Workflows

The free ZIP under Optional Files (spritely-free-workflows.zip) has:

  • spritely-pose.json, the ComfyUI workflow for Pose v5.

  • spritely-sheet.json, the ComfyUI workflow for Sheet v5.

  • Sample skeleton charts, each with its prompt.

spritely-starter-charts.zip, also under Optional Files, has 846 ready-made skeleton charts and prompts to start from: walk, run, attack, jump, death and more, unarmed or with a sword, gun or staff, in side-scroller, isometric and top-down views.
