NeoTokyo is a custom merge combining BoozIllustrious V1 with an in-house trained 90s cel-shading LoRA directly into the base checkpoint. Built on top of the Illustrious-XL (IL-XL) architecture, it is designed to capture the authentic, hand-painted aesthetic of late 1980s and 1990s Japanese animation (classic OVAs, retro cyberpunk, urban slice of life, and vintage fantasy).
No trigger words needed : just prompt normally with standard Danbooru tags. The retro cel-shaded style applies automatically while keeping full character and outfit accuracy.
