Hoosat is an obscure alien femme fatale from the Mickey Mouse newspaper-strip story Hoosat from Another Planet (1952–1953), written by Bill Walsh and drawn by Floyd Gottfredson. The daughter of the mysterious alien robot leader, she serves as the story’s principal antagonist, becoming infatuated with Goofy and attempting to make him her husband while working against Mickey and his friends. With her tall, glamorous, unusually humanlike design, Hoosat stands out among the striking female characters introduced during the later Gottfredson era.
