One of the heroines of this story. She has a quiet personality and doesn’t often voice her thoughts clearly, but she seems to be quick-witted. On the other hand, she can be stubborn, and even when problems arise, she tries to solve them on her own without relying on others. A few years ago, her parents fled in the middle of the night, and she now lives alone while earning her own living. Due to financial circumstances, she ends up working as a maid at the mansion of the Dojima family—the village’s wealthiest and most notorious family. She hates her given name and refers to herself by her last name. She seems to have trouble adapting to modern civilization; for example, she can’t figure out how to use a TV remote control. Despite her demeanor, she excels in math and science at school. She actually has poor eyesight.
