But first disclaimer: Mariam Gomez has NO relation to Maria Gomez, if you're looking for her there's actually 3 very nice loras of Maria already out, the similar names were just a coincidence and I'm not rewriting MY stuff. I came up with the fic back in 2016 (yes I procrastinate), Vendetta was released in 2017 (which I still haven't seen). Mariam is ex-Bolivian army working as a bodyguard for a cartel boss (Armin) who eventually mutates into a massive spider-like irregular mutant, Maria is an enhanced but otherwise human agent sort looking for revenge who's dad MIGHT have been involved with the CIA and Mexican cartel (near as I can tell). So here's what I think happened. Whoever came up with Maria did the exact same thing I did. He looked for the most common Hispanic names, found a combo that sounded good together, and went with that. Like that story?
EDIT: Well, there was the initial learning curve, especially for getting Mariam's advanced mutation looking right, but not too bad! You've GOT to use those keywords though, read on. I'll talk about this later, but for the most part you can get her SFW chitinous without laying on nudity, which is nice on the ol' yellow buzz and sometimes what I want besides. The biggest problems are human Armin and human Mariam together, you get alot of beautified Mariam (or ugly Armin, and don't, I beg you, use his name or you'll get Armin from Attack on Titan), and getting the wrong clothes. They're doable but it takes alot more effort than mutant Mariam at any stage and Arnim.
As usual, I don't have a home rig, I find out if this works on site right alongside you, give me time for samples. Not to mention gen services are down again. Where'd they move the sample prompts option to in lora training? Oh well, this is niche anyway, I think you'll live once I get a gallery going.
Right off, this was ambitious, but if things go wrong, I still blame civitai this round. This is the first time I've seen the trainer return me alot of "no sample" placeholders" for the gens, so I went with Epoch 9. Getting autotagger to work was also a lengthy adventure. I put alot of work into the tagging on this one (for me, doubtless others are better at this), but we're dealing with one character who has multiple stages of mutation, and then Armin, who's a base human, but aside from that I've gotten a few 2 character (character and a half maybe) loras off the ground, so our odds aren't too bad. I expect we'll run into the most issues with Mariam's most heavily mutated form, we may even see issues where her forms bleed together, but I've got keywords for each stage, and I think some descriptive prompts and negs will help. There are 49 samples, I think I did a good job of keeping close to one style, this should give you a colorful comicbook-y style, though a few are more dark and heavy EC style and a few of the action shots are more that sort of late 90s style you saw on alot of IPs (think Resident Evil the Official Comic Book). As usual I'd expect to be aware that most models seem to lean towards a cutesy beautification/moe anime sort of look, (and if you're into that, show me some magic!) but we'll find a balance here on this sample gallery.
These are starters with my lengthy notes, definitely try the keywords, if you're doing more than one character use BREAK I should think, you may not need all these and some may be less useful than others:

Tanned Hispanic woman, early 30's, expressive and warm facial lines, homely or plain (ugly may even work with how AI tends to beautify), freckles, brown eyes, female, black hair pulled back in simple ponytail. Military-style camo tactical jacket over simple dark crewneck t-shirt or tank top or sports bra, cargo pants or sweatpants or camo boxers. Athletic build.
This is baseline and Mariam in the early months of augmentation. She is a plain, tomboy-ish and somewhat short but fit looking bodyguard and head of security for her boss Armin. By late July augmentation has enhanced her physical abilities, corrected Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra, stigmatism of the left eye and teeth problems
For an early transition stage when Mariam visibly starts to mutate you can keep tan skin and use prompts: purple veins, orange eyes, and maybe neg out some of the following prompts.

Mutant woman ( might also recognize alien), female, early 30's, purple-blueish veiny skin (indigo?), orange eyes with no pupils, black hair pulled back in simply ponytail (starting to show hints so you can use black slightly purple hair). Athletic build, purple lips.
For some looks you can you can use the tactical jacket combo, red evening dress with ruched bodice, opulent gold jewelry and necklaces. Or her agent or mafia hitwoman look: bodyguard, tailored slim-fit black formal suit blazer, classic white button up dress shirt with pointed collar, black trousers, uzi submachine gun, sunglasses.
This is Mariam two more months after augmentation, with unexpected but still manageable side effects. She is visibly post human with veiny dark purple/indigo and orange eyes and appears taller and more confident. Her pheromone ability is starting to manifest and affect those around her.

Mutant woman ( might also recognize alien), female, early 30's, black hair, tendril hair (this one should work, civitai sometimes read it as snake hair, so you may want to lean in or neg that), purple chitinous segmented hair hair tendrils, Prehensile tendrils or appendages curve and bend at distinct joints, and resemble insect legs. Mottled purple skin with dark violet veins, luminescent orange-amber eyes with no visible pupils or irises, mottled deep purple and indigo skin tone with prominent vein like dark violent patterns on skin. Her arms and neck display highly pronounced, corded vascularity, with bulging, dark-violet veins winding. Her purple skin has fully transitioned into a highly segmented, micro-plated texture resembling cracked obsidian. Armor-plated texture for her jawline and face, cracked-placoid texture for skin. Smooth, curved chitinous plate armor on shoulders blends into smaller scales covering her chest. Sinewy fingers with sharp talons or sharp fingernails. Lean, ripped, superhumanly athletic build. Skin resembles a cross between cracked obsidian and glossy insect chitin plates.
NOTE ON CLOTHES AND NUDES: You can get her in clothes here, tank top, cargo pants, red dress, t shirt, you can even try Spiderman T Shirt. There's two looks of varying degrees here, heavily chitinous and more insectoid, and less. So depending on what you want, you may lean into or neg the plating, chitin, etc. Most of the action/fight scenes she's more chitin. Alternately, there's a few nudes in here, and whether she's considered nude seems to in large part be whether you've got nipples or not. You want her no clothes, but no actual nudity as we thinking of it, lay onto the chitin/plating/scales and neg out nude/nipples, a style really helps here, mentioning resident evil doesn't hurt either though you might get glowy stuff and Tyrant or William Birkin type mutations. You want actual nudity-nudity, I'd say try to keep her more fleshy, neg out the chitin and use something like the cracked skin prompt , but I worry you'll get model bias and wind up with Motoko Kusanagi or some such. I'm not saying you can't make the insectoid thing work, but its a challenge.
This is Mariam after two more months, she is now taller than Armin and more powerfully built than anyone else in his organization, and can no longer pass as human even from a distance. Her orange eyes now have a noticeable shine and no visible pupils, her body has visible plating and hardening sections. She can no longer wear a ponytail and her loose hair erupts in segmented purple tendrils, and her fingers have lengthened and visibly look like claws. Her facial structure has shifted to become harder and more angular, and her build now more closely resembles a Tyrant or similar BOW.

Male, handsome, Hispanic (or tan, be careful with this one, because AI loves to either make him caucasian or really lean into stereotypes), early to mid 30’s, short styled dyed blonde hair parted down the middle, light stubble or facial hair, dark eyebrows, brown eyes. Sharp tailored white suit jacket over a deep red button up shirt with open collar, matching white suit trousers held by a brown leather belt.
As I said, AI will see "blonde" and try to give him blue or green eyes or make him whiter than I am, if you care. He also has a more classic gray suit and tie look, I like to put him with one of those primitive early 2000's cellphones. He's always a snappy dresser. I based him off some telenovela star or another, so when you think Armin looks wise, think one of those Spanish soap operas with the rich/evil pretty boy. Some of the initial gens (and these are usually bad anyway) gave him tendril hair, so if you pair him with Mariam, maybe put male tendril hair or blonde tendril hair in negs.
Phew, well you made it down here! Super quick synopsis, with spoilers, you still care, and an excerpt. I'm about a quarter done with writing it, I could probably finish it out in a month easy if I committed. Its all in found footage, like journal entries etc, which I always loved about Resident Evil world building. I also channel alot of anthology horror with this fic.
Mariam Gomez is the homely right hand woman to fashion magnate and drug kingpin Armin Carbrera. She has an unrequited infatuation with her employer. When "The Organization" offers a discount to help refine their knock off T-Veronica process, Mariam jumps at the chance for super powers and the chance to get in Armin's good graces.
For awhile, everything is great, Mariam has the enhanced strength, speed, and durability, but unfortunately keeps mutating. As Mariam's mind deteriorates, she also develops pheromone abilities, making it difficult for Armin to keep his monstrous bodyguard who can now shove a Hunter II up itself at arms length. How's it end? Well, you know how these RE mutations go. It's either a romantic ending or a horror ending, depending on how you look at it.

Buenos tardes Branfield, I hope you enjoyed your holiday!
Per your request, I've gathered the supplemental materials our investigators obtained into the included report. I apologize for the lateness, things have been very busy here with containment as you well know. They make for interesting reading, I think I may actually support your theory now that the subject's mental state and personality have some bearing on the mutation type. Though I still maintain there must be some unique physiological factors involved as well, Reynolds and his "genetic lottery" nonsense notwithstanding.
Both Carbrera and Gomez kept detailed journals, and though we can't expect they wrote everything they experienced, the material still provides us a great deal of insight. We're missing some details, mainly the events that directly preceded the incident at 6:34 PM GMT-4 on Nov. 22, 2003, but other than that I think we have a pretty good picture of what happened here.
On the technical side, I think we need to revisit genes X8-12 and Y66-41. I'd assume the sequencing problems must lie there but we can verify that post mortem. We knew there'd be hiccups with the process, especially in a tropical climate, but hopefully each of these setbacks is one less problem to fix down the line.
I've dubbed the evolved organism "Uttu", after the Sumerian spider goddess, and her drones "Sukkal". Although you can see from the readout Uttu only superficially resembles a spider. I thought with your classical background you'd appreciate the symmetry of the myth with what transpired between the subject and Cabrera. At any rate, Uttu is the code name Cesar has been operating under.
The focused evolution, it's ability to create Sukkal and use pheromones, not only to command the Sukkal but also induce feelings of euphoria, terror, and even sexual pleasure in human beings is remarkable. Lieutenant Cesar has lost a few men and I feel is letting personal feelings get in the way of his judgement due to the, well, liberties taken. He wants to destroy Uttu and has threatened to circumvent us and go directly to management. This must not happen and I hope you'll support my position during the upcoming conference call. The research value of the subject is simply too valuable.

Attached is my field report, detailing the five failed attempts to subdue Uttu.
Summary is as follows. The first two attempts were repelled by Sukkal drones. After outfitting with heavier ordinance, the third team was able to diminish their numbers and penetrate the nest. Unfortunately, Uttu proved fast and resistant to even .50 cal ammunition. After incapacitating the strike team it relieved CPT Jones of his gas mask, at which point it attempted to mate with CPT Jones. Due to the creature's pheromone attack CPT Jones was receptive to this. Out of respect for his service I hope you will understand why I have not included his headset footage in the archive. CPT Jones was then consumed for sustenance, surviving members were converted to Sukkal. The fourth attempt and CPT Taylor fared the same, footage also omitted. The fifth attempt was a BOW only strike force utilizing Hunter II's and Jabberwock S3's. Uttu was not significantly injured in the fight and there were no surviving BOW assets.
Doctor Smythe insists Uttu is operating on instinct. From what I've observed from the footage, I disagree. I believe it has retained some spark of human intelligence from the way it prepared ambushes to how it tactically divided and annihilated my teams. I am very concerned what situation we'll be put in if this is the case and containment fails.
I recommend we firebomb the nest and cut losses. I understand Smyth's desire for samples and to salvage a "win" out of this fiasco, but the financial and personnel losses we've already incurred are substantial. I'm also concerned that containment may soon become impossible as Uttu has almost replenished it's number of Sukkal drones from my men. In my opinion, we should warn off the locals and let the BSAA clean this up.
