Created by Me – a filmmaker & AI workflow designer. This is my high‑quality image upscaler built on Z‑Image Turbo, designed to enlarge images while preserving detail and enhancing texture. It combines a dedicated upscale model (like RealESRGAN or 4X_Z‑Image_Turbo_Upscaler) with a detail enhancer LoRA and a text‑conditioned refinement step – giving you sharp, realistic results with optional creative control.

This workflow takes a single input image, upscales it to your desired scale (e.g., 2×, 4×, or custom percentage), and then runs it through a Z‑Image Turbo sampler with a detail‑enhancing LoRA for extra sharpness and texture recovery. You can also add a text description to guide the enhancement, and the workflow includes a side‑by‑side comparison of the original and upscaled result. The whole process is fast, thanks to the turbo model and 4‑step sampling.

### 1️⃣ Required Models & Prerequisites

Make sure these files are placed in your ComfyUI models/ folders:

### 3️⃣ How It Works (Upscale + Refinement)

1. Load your image – any low‑resolution or standard image you want to enlarge.

2. Upscale – the image is passed through an upscale model (e.g., 4X_Z‑Image_Turbo_Upscaler) to increase its resolution by a percentage you define (default ~300%, i.e., 3×).

3. Optional detail enhancement – if enabled, the upscaled image is fed into a Z‑Image Turbo sampler with a detail LoRA that adds sharpness, texture, and realism. You can control the LoRA strength and the adaptation (denoise) level.

4. Text guidance (optional) – you can add a text description (e.g., "Mountain winding road, cave, foliage") to influence the enhancement style.

5. Save & compare – the upscaled result is saved with a prefix like ZIT_UpS_, and an ImageCompare node shows the original vs. upscaled version side‑by‑side for easy evaluation.

### 6️⃣ Advanced Settings (Optional)

- Scale Percent – controls the upscale factor (e.g., 300% = 3×). The workflow automatically converts this to the correct scale value.

- Adaptation (Denoise) – ranges from 0 to 1. Values between 0.15 and 0.35 work best for balancing detail and smoothness. Lower values preserve the original look; higher values add more texture.

- Detail Enhancer – toggle this on/off to apply the detail LoRA. When enabled, you can adjust the LoRA strength (–1 to +1) – positive values add detail and sharpness, negative values soften the result.

- Upscale Model – choose between different upscale models (e.g., 4X_z_image_turbo_upscaler or RealESRGAN_x4plus). The model you have will appear in the dropdown.

- Text Prompt – add a description of the image to guide the enhancement (e.g., "portrait, sharp eyes, fine skin texture").

After running, you’ll get:

- A high‑quality upscaled image saved as ZIT_UpS_*.png (or your custom prefix) in your output folder.

- A side‑by‑side comparison displayed in the UI, so you can instantly see the improvement.
