Dragonlord from Dragon Quest (the first one) , Dragon Quest Builder (the first one), and shows up as a boss here and there in other DQ games.
Current notes: It occurs to me belatedly that having a character named Dragonlord from a game called Dragon Quest with a dragon form trained in MIGHT cause problems if you were to reference the word dragon in any sort of combination of words. I think he's still usable, but I'd keep this in mind with prompts.
Use "black coif" in place of hat or headware, otherwise you'll get all kinds of randomized stuff, this is pretty close. I would specify "noseless" and "no nose", otherwise, well, its gonna give him a nose (but you can stick a nose on him if ya like).
I know his magic staff is a dragon head, but seems like trying to specify that starts giving him dragon features, so again, going back to my warning there, I'd put a bit of thought into prompts.
SO! Story time below, then tips such as I have them, as always, it'll take me a day or two to get a decent gallery together and know the ups and downs of this lora. Lemme tell you upfront, I am not sure of it, not the least bit because civitai has been so twitchy. Firstly, this is one of those 2 forms loras, and while I occasionally get those off, its always been hit and miss, he has his main humanoid form and his dragon form, and I know people big into Maleficent and Ludmilla and such, if they got a dragon form, you gotta include it, thats how it is (though maybe its a better idea to do a separate lora)
Also, all the notes I had taken while doing this lora were lost in one of these delightful Florida lightning storm surges, so I gotta do this from memory.
But first, story time. There I was, I guess it musta been 3rd grade or so, when a friend showed me Dragon Quest and I had to rent it. Now understand, I was pretty good at this stuff, for a dippy grade schooler, but you could only get so far on a weekend rental. I didn't finish DQ 1 until I was in my 20s on a rom and we had the internet, cuz I'm sorry, there was no way you were ever figuring out some of those puzzles without either a guide or days to obsess over NPC dialogue, and while I've sunk alot of time I'm not proud of into alot of things, I just didn't have that kinda time. But DQ was iconic and (puzzles aside), remains an extremely fun series, aside from the main games, all the spinoffs.
So there I was again, trying to finish out Dragon Quest Builders (the 1st one). I picked it up in the day for $10 I think (or maybe it was $20), the 2nd one is even better in my opinion because you've got more area to build and better mechanics, and hey, there's Dragon Lord! (Oh, also I had him in Brave Exvius during the DQ crossover, he was real fun for about a week, but Brave Exvius was always making the new guy obsolete within days, so you had to enjoy it on that level).
Anyways, I sometimes see Dragon Quest loras show up here, I went looking, and it seems like they've got every monster and villain you can think of but...no Dragon Lord! Me being me I had to resolve that! And then I went to put the lora together and I kinda realized why. There really isn't much art out of him, I mean official like. Its all very similar, him in maybe 4 poses, its all mostly the same perspective, and he always wears the same clothes.
Look, I don't know you, and I don't have to know. I'm telling you, you could draw him from a reference. He's like Garfield that way.
So I expect challenges with this lora, but I've been wrong before.
Ok, well having lost my notes, what's he look like?
Humanoid: Male, black coif, evil yellow eyes (or sclera), blue colored skin, noseless, a purple robe, a cape with a red collar, a dragon staff, a red amulet (necklace), and he's usually depicted as chibi.
Dragon form: A purple dragon, red eyes, wings, claws, horns, sharp teeth
I tried to tag it, so if you're going for the Dragon form, you can use those and maybe "2nd form".
I used 24 samples, art, game screenshots, and 5 AI extrapolations to round things out. I'd suspect its going to fight you hard on his outfit, so my recommend if you're struggling with that is either use a clothing lora or reduce the Dragonlord lora strength. Keyword is Dr@g0nl0rd
