Produces similar likeness to pilot portraits from Starsector at 4x pixelated resolution. Designed to work at 512x512; 4 steps is fine. If you have your own picture, generally running it through 512x512 img2img with activation text should work.
Trained on all portraits from the original game, gemma4 generated descriptions for 16100 steps with batch size=1 and lr=0.0001, OstrisAI-Toolkit.
Use the following format:
Starsector pilot portrait. <Color A>/<Color B> rim light. <introduction>. <features>. <clothing>.Starsector pilot portrait. is activation text, just put it in.
Rim light can be omitted, the model will still stylize the picture.
