I wanted a way to show a creeping blood infection / corruption moving through a person's body but wasn't satisfied with any of the existing LoRA. So I made one! Good for Zombie, Vampires, Demons, Werewolves, Infection, Corruption, anything where you want to viscerally show something tainted spreading through the body.
Anima
Anima is a different beast for trying to define multiple custom tags. This is my 10th attempt at this training, and while it's not perfect I'm frankly sick of looking at it. In the end I had to recaption everything with natural language.
Trigger text corresponding to the Illustrious stages outlined below:
light black veins spreading across the hands, feet, calves, and forearms.
black veins creeping further up the thighs, legs, and into the upper arms and shoulders.
black veins covering the hips, torso, collarbone, and body.
black veins climbing up the neck, across the face, around the eyes, with black sclera.
You may tag multiple phrases to stack effects. It'll also respond to general direction about black or colored veins to some degree, but I haven't put in but so much testing there.
Be sure to define your style with style tags or a style LoRA, otherwise it seems it can grab a random style from the training data which is very diverse.
Illustrious
Version 2, now with an attempt at defined stages! I'd tried to do this with the first round, but it didn't work out right (probably because I'd forgotten to turn on the text encoders during training, whoops!). It's not perfect or 100% strict, but here you go.
Trigger Tags:
cvds1handsfeet - light veins in the extremities, typically up to about the calves and forearms.
cvds2armslegs - the veins spread further up the thighs and into the upper arms, teasing at the shoulders
cvds3hipstorso - the veins reach the hips, torso, collar, and down into the beasts ('veiny breasts' can be useful. None of my images were topless, so depending on your model the veins may not extend here on their own).
cvds4facesclera - the veins climb up the neck, into the cheeks, and around the eyes, burning the sclera of one or both black.
'c0rruptvein' from Version 1 is no longer a valid trigger. Having that blanket trigger with the stages was ruining the separation. This is actually my 4th attempt to get it right after version 1 and stripping out that universal tag helped a lot. (cvds# stands for 'corrupt vein disease stage #')
Useful tags are things like 'black veins,' 'colored veins,' 'veiny ____,' and such. Seem my prompts for examples.
Typically I'm running this at 0.8-0.9.
I wanted to show significant veins like an infection or corruption, but didn't like the other LoRA I'd tried. So I decided to make my own.
Trigger Tag: c0rruptvein
But honestly it doesn't seem to rely on it. I must do something wrong when I try to train in a trigger because it never seems to do what I intend.
Responds to: black veins (sometimes looks like it's over the skin), colored veins (more natural but still unnatural. Semi-natural?), and blue veins pretty well. Veins around eyes also has a pretty nice effect, and veiny breasts is good since it seems to leave those untouched unless specified.

All my images applied a pass of hires fix to upscale and refine them. If you're onsite generation it costs 10 buzz, I believe, but I recommend it for the images you like. Available post generation, click the three dots for in the top right corner of the image and it'll be in the dropdown menu. This post shorts the difference it makes, particularly in the detail in her eyes and on her shorts.
