Lacie, Innocence of Wonderland.
Lacie was not the Lacie everyone thought they knew.
When she was a small girl, she was forced down that cursed Rabbit Hole as a sacrifice to an eldritch entity known as the Jabberwocky. When she managed to escape Wonderland the first time, there was a part of her that got left behind. Her innocence was lost in Wonderland, the one they wrote stories about. The girl in the mirror and the girl looking into it were living two different lives. Lacie served as the gateway from Wonderland into the Real world.
Everyone would have said "It was all in her head" but only the Mad can see Truth. Along side every version of her that was also trapped inside Wonderland too. It's quite like losing your head, along with your senses, when it all flies with Time - right out the window.
So how could you ever explain yourself when you aren't being yourself? There is no use in pretending to be two different people, there's hardly enough of anyone to be one respectable person.
Who is to say which Lacie was Real? Certainly not this one.
