Tanya von Degurechaff is the main character of the Youjo Senki light novel, manga, and anime series.

After graduating from the military academy (for her academic achievements, she received personal nobility and the "von" prefix to her surname), she created and assumed command of the elite 203rd Mobile Magic Wing and was promoted to major.
