Beans from Rango

Beans from the movie Rango (2011), an animated Western comedy about a pet chameleon who ends up in the drought-stricken desert town of Dirt and becomes its unlikely sheriff, is a desert iguana voiced by Isla Fisher and one of the main characters connected to the town’s water crisis. She is depicted as a tough rancher with a dry sense of humor, pale desert coloring, and a recurring freezing condition that causes her to suddenly go stiff when stressed. In the story she meets Rango after he wanders into the desert, brings him into the problems facing Dirt, and pushes him to investigate the town’s missing water supply, becoming both his ally and love interest as the conflict with the Mayor and Rattlesnake Jake unfolds.
