✨ VHS-Magica ✨ | A Retro Anime Dreamscape
This is VHS-Magica, a merge I've been working on to try and capture that special feeling of 80s and 90s high-budget anime—think of a pristine OVA tape you'd find at a specialty shop.
My goal wasn't to create the "best" model, but rather a fun and flexible tool that enjoys a specific aesthetic. I find it creates images with a lovely cel-shaded feel, sharp lines, and really vibrant, punchy colors, as you can see from the example image.
It's my take on that "modern retro" style. As a curious take, I feel like it produces images just like those stylish anime pins everyone shares on Pinterest, haha. I hope you have as much fun with it as I do!
📼 Recommended Settings
I've found this model to be quite responsive and flexible, but here are the settings I've had the most success with:

🎨 Notes on Use
It seems to respond well to prompts, so you can guide the details pretty effectively.
Great for character portraits, fantasy scenes, or anything needing that "magical" 90s anime vibe.
