The Eternal Night: Nergadan

Once a celebrated aristocrat and scholar of the occult, he was known as Lord Aldric Vagnar, a man obsessed with unraveling the mysteries of life and death. His manor was filled with forbidden tomes, relics, and whispered rumors of unspeakable experiments. In his pursuit of immortality, he struck a pact with something that dwelled beyond mortal comprehension—an ancient entity of shadow and hunger.

The bargain granted him power beyond imagination, but at a terrible cost. His flesh withered into a pale, skeletal visage, his once-proud eyes forever split in unnatural duality—one green with the vestiges of his humanity, the other red with the fire of his patron. From his back sprouted writhing tendrils, manifestations of the abyss that now shared his soul.

Banished from the world of men, he wanted to learn more dark and deep secrets, arts and ancient black magic so he entered an edrich pit to learn the secrets and got even further down and transformed from the very secrets and black magic he was so excited to look for into Nergadan, a lifeless apparition that in wanders gothic ruins and candlelit halls, half-sorcerer, half-abomination. His cane, more than a symbol of refinement, serves as a conduit of his eldritch bond, while his claws betray the predator lurking beneath his gentlemanly guise. He lingers on the border between life and undeath, eternally caught between the man he once was and the nightmare he has become.

Now, wherever he walks, whispers of dread follow—of a figure both regal and horrifying, who offers mortals the same bargain that damned him, always seeking new souls to drag into the abyss.
