~ Vixon's recipe for No-Bake Chocolate Haystacks ~
Ingredients
1 cup Sugar
1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
2 Tablespoons cocoa powder, heaping
1 1/2 cups oats
1/2 cup shredded coconut, sweetened or unsweetened
Instructions
Add the sugar, milk and butter to a medium pot and bring to a rolling boil over medium heat.
Add cocoa and and let boil for 1.5 to 2 minutes (don’t over boil it).
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
Add the oats and coconut and stir until completely combined.
Spoon onto a parchment lined baking sheet.
Allow to cool at room temperature for about half an hour or until firm.
