Core Collapse is a merge that was born out of an effort to find a model that would adapt well to mixed media. More specifically I was looking for certain kinds of results when using my Stream-of-Consciousness LoRA and a quick-and-dirty merge seems like the solution. While I didn't base my choices of models to merge based on what name I could use this time, the names of the source models happened to fit thematically anyway.

A Fusion Of:

Nova Anime XL and
Art Universe

So between Nova and Universe in the names, naming the merge Core Collapse after a step in a star's dramatic exit seemed like a good middle ground.

Pros: This merge is really receptive to any LoRAs that are used with it, from my experience. This is true for both using individual or multiple LoRAs, with none of the LoRAs getting muddied in the process.

Cons: Without making use of LoRAs and the like, Core Collapse just doesn't stand on its own in any particular area. The core, well, collapses without any supports. Your mileage may vary, but I did make the merge with using LoRAs in mind, so - mission successful?

This model is another that's fun to experiment with but if you need a starting point, you can't go wrong with:

Sampler: Euler A
Schedule: Karras
Steps: 20-30
Clip Skip: 1-2
