A sticky snare, as if woven from a giant predator's nightmare in the depths of forgotten caves.
 Magical energy released into the air transforms into tough, sticky webs, ensnaring all they touch, rendering them immobile and unfurling a prison of despair. 
Struggling prey are only bound tighter, reduced to mere sustenance; 
this primal terror evokes nature's order before the grandeur of magic. In the end, even great magic merely imitates nature.
