杜甫（712年－770年），字子美，自号少陵野老，唐代最伟大的现代主义诗人，被誉为“诗圣”。他出生于巩县，杜甫自幼好学，知识渊博，颇有政治抱负。

在《诗词动物城》的世界里，杜甫则是一只温润守礼的中华田园犬，他与李白有着难以分割的联系，他在中国古典诗歌中以风格浑朴沉郁著称。相对李白疏朗洒脱的“诗仙”，杜甫被后人奉为“诗圣”。

Du Fu (712–770), courtesy name Zimei and pseudonym Shaoling Ye Lao, was the greatest realist poet of China's Tang Dynasty, honored as the "Poet Sage." Born in Gong County, he displayed a thirst for knowledge from childhood, becoming deeply erudite and nurturing strong political aspirations.

In the world of "The Animal Poetry Town," Du Fu is reimagined as a gentle and dignified Chinese rural dog. Inseparable from Li Bai in literary legacy, he is celebrated in classical Chinese poetry for his profound, solemn, and introspective style. While Li Bai, the "Poet Immortal," embodied untamed brilliance, Du Fu was revered by posterity as the "Poet Sage"—a moral and artistic anchor.

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐代最伟大的浪漫主义诗人，被誉为“诗仙”。他出生于西域碎叶城，幼年随父迁居蜀中，少年时便展露惊人才华，好剑术，一生漫游天下，追求自由与理想。

在《诗词动物城》的世界里，李白则是一只孤傲不羁的北极狼，他年少成名，诗才惊艳天下。他游历四方，纵情诗酒。

Li Bai (701–762), courtesy name Taibai and pseudonym Qinglian Jushi, was the greatest Romantic poet of China's Tang Dynasty, revered as the "Poet Immortal." Born in Suyab (in the Western Regions), he moved to Shu (modern Sichuan) with his father as a child. A prodigy from a young age, he excelled in both poetry and swordsmanship, spending his life wandering the land in pursuit of freedom and idealism.

In the world of "The Animal Poetry Town," Li Bai is reimagined as a proud and untamed Arctic wolf. A literary sensation from youth, his poetic genius dazzled the world. Roaming far and wide, he reveled in wine and verse, embodying the spirit of unrestrained artistry.

严武（726年－765年），字季鹰，华州华阴（今陕西华阴）人，唐代中期名将兼诗人，封郑国公。他出身官宦世家，自幼豪爽刚毅、善骑射、通兵法，二十岁以门荫入仕，后任剑南节度使，镇守蜀地，曾大破吐蕃七万之众，治蜀威重一方。他亦能诗文，与杜甫屡有诗作唱和，是杜甫晚年流寓成都时最有力的庇护者与知音，曾邀杜甫入幕府任检校工部员外郎，世称“杜工部”由此而来。

在《诗词动物城》的世界里，严武是一只披甲执令的黑狼——沉毅、锋利、护短而不形于色。他立于蜀地风雪之中，一面是令敌胆寒的将军，一面是把杜甫拢在羽翼下的旧友；相较李白的疏狂远游，严武更像那道把“诗圣”留在人间的栅门。三人之间，李白是风，杜甫是土，严武便是承风托土的山脊。

Yan Wu (726–765), courtesy name Jiying, was a native of Huayin in Huazhou (present-day Huayin, Shaanxi). A famed general and poet of mid-Tang China, he was later enfeoffed as Duke of Zheng (Zhengguo Gong). Born into a family of high officials, he was bold, resolute, and upright from childhood—skilled in horsemanship and archery, well versed in military strategy. At twenty he entered office through familial patronage, and later served as Military Commissioner of Jiannan and Governor of Chengdu, holding the frontier of Shu. He once crushed a Tibetan army of over 70,000, and ruled Shu with stern, far-reaching authority. A poet in his own right, he frequently exchanged verses with Du Fu and became the strongest patron and kindred spirit of Du Fu’s late years in Chengdu—inviting him onto his staff as Acting Assistant Commissioner in the Ministry of Works, which is the origin of Du Fu’s later title “Du Gongbu” (Minister Du of Works).

In the world of The Animal Poetry Town, Yan Wu is reimagined as an armored black wolf bearing command tokens—sober, keen-edged, fiercely protective yet never wearing it on his face. Standing amid the snow-laden winds of Shu, he is at once the general who freezes enemies in their tracks and the old friend who gathers the gentle Du Fu beneath his flank. Where Li Bai drifts in untamed, wandering brilliance, Yan Wu is more like the gate-rail that keeps the “Poet Sage” tethered to the human world. Among the three, Li Bai is the wind, Du Fu is the earth, and Yan Wu is the mountain ridge that catches the wind and bears up the earth.
