Sunrise Stance | サンライズ立ち

An often-parodied sword pose associated with the animation studio Sunrise.

The pose consists of a character holding a sword (or other weapon) around their waist in a fighting stance with the tip of the weapon angled very close to the camera. The camera angle and the extreme foreshortening make the weapon appear much larger than normal.
