One of the series I remember back in the 90s was Record of Lodoss War (Lodoss tô Senki / ロードス島戦記). It was aired once in TV in my country and one of the series that made me interested on the fantasy genre.
Without a doubt the memorable character in the series was Deedlit, the high elf that embarks in Parn's journey to save Lodoss island.
