DotStyle

An experimental style for creating abstract images containing dots and bokeh.

Early stage, needs some practice to get good results.

Good tags to use

  • dotstyle

  • abstract

  • glowing

  • bokeh

  • colorful

How to use it

The dots need a place to go, so do not describe everything in the picture, because then you will struggle to see any effect.

For example here is an image with a lora wight of 0 (so lora nor used) using the following tags

dotstyle, colorful, abstract, ship, ocean, waves, stormy sky, lightning,

With increased lora weight we get a much more colorful image, but no dots:

If you are lucky or increase the weight to 1.4 you might get something like this:

That's more like it, but maybe a bit much. The abstract keyword really kicked in here.

If you now keep the prompt simpler and do not describe the sky and use the following prompts:

dotstyle, colorful, abstract, ship, ocean, waves,

you get the desired dots, because there is room for the model to place them somewhere:
