Yumeko Tendo is a 12-year-old elementary young human girl who is an older sister of Hoshiro Tendo, which she also serves as the newest (thoughtfully, the first time) supporting character of 1985 anime series of Gegege no Kitaro (ironically, it was Neko Musume who already been Kitaro's major exponent until when they meet each other, and later become best friends). An elementary student who is a very kind girl who shares the belief that humans and youkai should co-exist peacefully, which her parents hardly to believe anything about 'fairy tale', not long before when Kitaro shows up right in front of them. Due to this, she joins with Kitaro to solve many infrequent cases related to youkais together... as long as Neko Musume doesn't get involved just because of who's gonna get to him first (for being a hero).
