Despite his humble roots, he ventured tae Edinburgh, where he opened a wee bookshop stuffed wi’ stories an’ lore. His kind heart an’ sharp tongue earned him the love o’ his neighbours an’ a reputation as the "Highland Muse" tae all who kent him.
