Like the author, I get frustrated with the soft blend watercolours that most SDXL checkpoints produce. This LoRA takes what SDXL knows and pushes it way out into a more realistic watercolour style. The biggest delight for me was getting plenty of dried edges with more intense colour - just like I get in real life. Using the phrase “line art” pushes things towards a refined mixed media style - synthetic but very nice and a delight for high fantasy characters & scenes.
There doesn’t seem to be a lot of texturing in the LoRA - but that is a plus because this LoRA mixes really well in combination with some texture LoRAs I tried. You can use it to add a blended/variegated/weathered to materials such as leather, wood and metal.
All in all, a fantastic multi-use LoRA. Love it!
