Venom was originally a member of an alien symbiote species, wandering through the cosmos. Its fate took a dramatic turn when it came into contact with Spider-Man. During one event, Spider-Man, troubled by personal issues, removed the symbiote, leaving the alien creature abandoned. It was then found by Eddie Brock, a reporter. Eddie was once an arrogant journalist with a deep hatred for Spider-Man. After merging with Venom, he gained the power for revenge. The union between Venom and Eddie not only granted him immense strength but also made him one of Spider-Man's most formidable enemies.

In the confrontation with Spider-Man, Venom demonstrated unmatched strength and a fierce desire for vengeance. However, over time, Venom evolved from a simple villain into a complex antihero. While still closely tied to Eddie's anger and vengeful mindset, it began to protect innocent lives and pursue its own form of "justice."

Venom's goals and methods do not always align with traditional hero standards. It does not adhere to moral frameworks and often acts in extreme, violent ways to achieve its aims, sometimes acting for its own and Eddie's benefit. But it also has its own set of boundaries, and when faced with evil, Venom ruthlessly eliminates any threats.
