Base IllustriousXL is able to replicate artist style, but I found that it was rather hit or miss when generating images. The idea behind this LoRA is to help "lock-in" the style so that it is more consistent between generations.
The LoRA seems to work well with a weight of 0.8 - 1 during testing, but you may need to modify this value to find what works for you.
