it's time for Winter Memempics of 2025-2026
please read the rules carefully, since I'm not sure how well I can explain this
rules:
create images using or portraying *_(meme) Danbooru tags
link to safebooru tag list (replace "safe" with "dan" in the url to get nsfw posts visible)
only memes with a Danbooru wiki page are accepted
if the "?" in the list takes you to a page that says "This wiki page does not exist.", it doesn't count
the "any meme" and "your own meme" categories are exempt to this rule
the image must be of good quality and portray the meme understandably
as judged by me. I promise to be kind
any checkpoint and loras are allowed
Pony, Illustrious and maybe SDXL are obviously good choices as they understand Danbooru tags, but you can use anything if you're able to portray the meme (and explain what meme you're portraying)
using meme loras is completely fine and probably needed for many, as even Pony/Illustrious checkpoints might not understand the tag alone
post images in the "Example Images" section (the first box)
don't add different memes in the same entry
you can post multiple images of the same meme in different entries or the same entry
both sfw and nsfw are accepted
10 entries per hunter
ask if something is unclear (super important! I want to help you succeed!)
it goes without saying (but I say it anyway) that you should follow the ToS
winning:
each *_(meme) tag is its own category! (so there are potentially hundreds)
winner of each category will get ⚡1000 buzz!
runner-up of each category will get ⚡500 buzz!
my overall favorite image will get the bounty prize of ⚡4000 buzz in addition to most like winning their category
I prefer to give buzz to the images, so please make a post of them and link it in the entry if at all possible
if you manage to find a meme no one else has submitted an image to, and your entry follows the rules by being of good quality and portraying the meme, you win that category by default
one hunter can win in a maximum of 5 categories (whether first place or runner-up)
