Creator Journey: See How Far You've Come

TL;DR:

  • Nine Creator Score tiers. Spark to Legend, each with its own badge.

  • A page for your progress. Your journey shows your tier, what the next one unlocks, and every badge you've earned.

  • Achievements for the work you do. Publishing, audience, Creator Shop sales, judging Crucibles and winning challenges. Plus a few secrets.

  • Community recognition at the top. Reach the end of the journey and you get a nameplate, an animated badge, and a spot on the new Creator Showcase.

Why we're doing this

Creator Score already decides a lot here. Judging Crucibles, early access, running sales, the Creator Program. But for most of you it was a number on your account page with nothing around it. You couldn't see how far you'd come or what was next.

Creator Journey gives that number a path.

Nine tiers, nine badges

Every tier has its own hexagon badge, with art by @kftiger. Hit the Creator Score mark and the new badge is granted to you the following day. Once you have it, share it: the link shows a card with your avatar, your profile decoration and the badge.

Your journey page also shows what the next tier unlocks, so the next goal is always in front of you. Not sure where your score comes from? How Creator Score works breaks it down.

Supernova and Legend

The top two tiers get more than a badge.

  • Supernova. A Supernova nameplate on your username, and a spot under New Supernovas on the Creator Showcase the month you cross.

  • Legend. An animated Legend badge, also by @kftiger, and an animated Legend nameplate on your username. Your profile shows "Legend since" and the month you made it, plus how many Legends there are in total. You also get a place in the Hall of Fame.

  • Founding Legend. If you're already a Legend today, your profile says Founding Legend instead. That one only goes to people who were there at launch.

Achievements

Score isn't the only thing worth marking. There are five achievement tracks, and every ladder climbs the same five metals: wood, bronze, silver, gold and diamond.

  • Create. 10 milestones for publishing models and articles, all the way up to 500 models.

  • Reach. 15 milestones for downloads on your best model, followers and reactions.

  • Earn. 5 milestones for Creator Shop sales, from 100k up to 2M Buzz.

  • Community. 5 milestones for judging Crucibles, from 500 Judged up to 25k Judged. Votes count from October 4.

  • Compete. 5 milestones for wins, from your First Win up to 100 Wins. A win is a prize place in a daily challenge, or in a community challenge or Crucible with 10 or more entrants, as long as you didn't host it.

And then there are the Special achievements. That's all we're saying.

The Creator Showcase

The Creator Showcase is where the top of the ladder lives: the Hall of Fame for Legends and this month's new Supernovas.

You're listed by default. Don't want to be? Hit the hide button on your own card, or turn on "Hide me from the Creator Showcase" in your account settings.

What happens now

If you already qualify for something, it's already on your page, marked "Earned before launch". We granted it all quietly, so nobody wakes up to forty notifications. From here on, every new milestone sends you a notification when you hit it.

Thank you

You've been building here for years. The least we can do is show you the road behind you and the one ahead.
