TL;DR:
The content portion is open. Short video made with H3, judged head to head by you.
Nine crucibles, three a week, for three weeks. Horror, Cyberpunk and Civitai Memes are live now.
Prizes start at 100,000 Buzz and grow with every paid entry.
Your first entry is free. After that it is 100 Buzz each, up to five.
Judges watch the first six seconds. Six seconds of real playback before anyone can vote.
The training portion has been running two weeks and you have not been idle. Now the other half.
The content portion is about what you can actually make with H3. Short video, judged head to head, in nine separate contests across three weeks.
What is running
through : Horror, Cyberpunk, and Civitai Memes.
through : Western, Fantasy, and Civitai Memes. Links coming as they open.
through : Noir, Sci-Fi, and Civitai Memes. Links coming as they open.
Each one runs seven days and starts with a 100,000 Buzz prize, and as paid entries come in, it grows.
How it is judged
This runs on our new Crucibles system.
You get two clips side by side and you pick the one you like better. Every vote moves both clips' ratings, the way chess ratings work, so beating something well rated counts for more.
Rankings stay hidden while a crucible is running. You can see how your own entry is doing and nothing else.
Six seconds
A judge has to watch six seconds of both clips before they can vote. Real playback only, so scrubbing and skipping do not count. Clips can run up to two minutes.
That six seconds is the design, not a limit. Nobody is obliged to watch more, so the first six seconds are what you are competing on. Spend them on opening credits and the whole thing is gone.
It also means you can make an entry on the site. You do not need an editor and a weekend.
Entering
Your first entry in each crucible is free. After that it is 100 Buzz, up to five entries each. Every Buzz of every paid entry goes into that crucible's pool, so the prize grows as people show up.
Each one pays out 50% of the pool to first place, 30% to second, and 20% to third.
Each creator can win one prize per crucible. If you have more than one entry in the top three, your best one counts and the next prize moves to the next creator.
Winners claim their prize from the win notification. On civitai.red you pick green or yellow Buzz; on civitai.com it pays green. Unclaimed prizes pay out in green after 30 days.
Badge
Everyone who enters any of the H3 crucibles gets the content contest participation badge, separate from the training one.

How to make an entry
Open the generator and pick an H3 workflow. Or find a video on the site you like and remix it as a starting point.
Made it locally? That works too. Post it first, then on the post's edit page add MiniMax H3 as a resource on the video. Then enter it from your Library in the crucible.
For extra effects, the training contest collection is full of H3 LoRAs people have been publishing for two weeks: styles, concepts, camera control. That is what it was for.
Go make six good seconds
Pick a genre. Enter. Then go vote on somebody else's.
