If you were wondering why your published images do not show correct reaction counts, you are not the only one affected. For several images I published in past few weeks, I got notified they reached a certain amount of reactions, but looking at the images they only had one or no reactions. I occasionally had "off by one" reaction count fails before, but not by this margin. So after wittnessing this several times and finding image's reaction counts reset to zero, that I am sure had 5+ reaction before, I reached out to support for this matter. This is the answer I got:
"Hi RisingV,
Thank you for reaching out to Support! I apologize for the inconvenience and the delayed response to your message. We've been experiencing high volume in tickets, and our team is diligently working through the queue to address each user's concerns.
Currently, there's a known issue with relatively newer content, where reactions, likes, views, etc., are not populating updated or accurate metrics, and you are not the only impacted user.
Please note that our Development Team is aware of this bug and is working to push an update for this fix, but it will require several deployments in order to resolve all affected content. (Once the fix is implemented, all counters will correctly reflect accurate metrics again, and this includes articles, bounties, models, images, posts, etc.)
I appreciate your patience and understanding, and I'm so sorry again about the inconvenience!
Best regards,"
It seems it is a known issue and that devs are working on it. Also seems like reactions are not lost, just falsely displayed. I did not experience it myself, but looks like counts for articles, bounties and models are also affected.
I hope this helps other users, that experienced the same, but did not reach out to support.
There is apparently no official anouncement for this and I haven't seen any other user post treating this.
EDIT: Now that I think about the counts on my model pages, it seem like they are also affected. One of my LoRas has over 500 generated images on 11th of November alone per Buzz Dashboard page, but on the model page the total generated image count is only 135. Did anyone else experience something like that?
EDIT2: Seems like they fixed part of the problem? All of a sudden the number of images generated with my models is almost four times as high as it was yesterday.
EDIT3: I got an update after contacting support regarding this issue again. Here is the answer:
"Hi RisingV,
Our Support and Community Teams have both continuously engaged the Development Team over this issue, where content metrics weren't accurately reflected or updating, but this bug wasn't a simple fix for our Developers, which is why it's persisted for such a long period of time.
Please note that after deploying several larger updates on our backend, our Development Team is in the process of re-scanning 4 million images today in order to resolve all issues related to reactions, and they'll also be tackling the other issues raised regarding the metrics of other content types.
I appreciate your patience and understanding, and I'm so sorry about the extended delay!
Best regards,"
So it's just a matter of days until reaction counts are restored?
